Reed Accountancy and Finance bolstered their industry networks by sponsoring the British Accountancy Awards, last week.
The specialist accountancy and finance arms of REED sponsored the Large firm innovation of the year award, which was handed to Smith & Williamson for its work with fast-growth businesses.
Claire Harvey, managing director UK & Ireland, Reed Specialist Recruitment, said:
We are thrilled to have been a sponsor at this year's British Accountancy Awards. It is fitting that Reed Accountancy, the UK's most established accountancy recruitment agency, has partnered with such a prestigious accountancy awards ceremony.
"I'd like to extend my congratulations to Smith & Williamson, whose fantastic work on its scale-up programme is more than worthy of winning the Large firm innovation of the year award."
Sancho Simmonds, partner at Smith & Williamson, added: “I am delighted that we have been recognised for our innovation in the sector, particularly for our work with scale-up businesses. This is the third award in as many years for our scale-up programme, which demonstrates the impact our work is having in the industry and for clients.”
The flagship ceremony, which celebrates excellence in accountancy and finance, was held at the Grosvenor House hotel, last Wednesday. It is attended by a range of accountancy firms, with nominations for the likes of PwC, KPMG, EY and Deloitte.
