Are you an experienced General Ledger Clerk looking for an exciting new opportunity on a Temp to Perm basis?
My client, a well established and extremely reputable business, in Northampton needs someone to join the busy but friendly finance team, ASAP. The business is classed as 'Essential Work' to the pandemic.
This position will be home based initially during current Lockdown but when restrictions do lift in time the role will revert back to being office based. And for the right candidate this temporary assignment could become a permanent job!
Your duties will depend on your level of experience but could range from and include the following:
* Invoice Processing - matching, batching and coding invoices
* Maintain purchase ledger for a group of companies
* Multiple Bank Reconciliations
* Assist with payment run preparation
* Credit control - chasing payments
* Supplier statement Reconciliations
* Ad hoc tasks as required
To be considered for the position you must have at least 2 years hands on accounting experience with a strong work ethic and excellent attitude to work. You must have worked at a transactional level managing Purchase Ledger and processing invoices. Knowledge of Sage would be desirable. And an excellent sense of humour a must!
This is a 'Hands On' position in a busy team where everyone supports one another.
