My Client are looking for you- An experienced Educational Health and Care Plan Coordinator to support a caseload of children and young people with Special Educational Needs. I am looking to speak to individuals with knowledge of the Special Educational Needs and Disability code of practice (January 2015) who has experience of writing and managing Educational Health Care Plans. This role will require you to work alongside the SEN Team as the Educational Health and Care Plan Coordinator, preparing plans tailored towards the needs of each individual child. You will be responsible for a Caseload of children and young people and expected to prepare and attend the SEN panel to seek decisions on requests for statutory assessments.

The successful individual will be responsible to facilitate the placement of children and young people with special educational needs within appropriate educational settings as adhered towards their educational Health and care plan. You will be attending Multi agency meetings and communicating with third party coordinators to ensure necessary information is gathered in relation to each individual EHCP.

The ideal candidate will have conservable experience of supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and understand how to Write, manage and coordinate Educational Health Care Plans. You will have the ability to influence and negotiate with third party organisations to ensure required support for Children, young people and their families. Desirable but not essential is an individual with a background in Psychology, social work or child care. This role is to begin immediately until Christmas with a possibility for extension.
