Finance Business Partner – Dungannon

£40,000 - £50,000 Permanent & Full Time

I am delighted to be partnering with our client, a hugely successful manufacturing company in County Tyrone, recruiting a qualified & experienced Finance Business Partner to take up a newly created role within their finance department.

THE ROLE

Working alongside a high-performing, commercially minded team, this BRAND-NEW role will play an integral part in the overall optimisation of the finance department.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide departmental financial analysis, including the preparation of KPI reporting to drive business improvement
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and influence decisions to improve the profitability of the business
  • Interrogating and understanding the ERP system to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information
  • Identify process improvements and facilitate/manage project teams for their successful implementation
  • Work closely with commercial and operations to provide financial analysis to influence key business decisions
  • Adapt reporting in response to changing business needs to provide fresh insights into the current reporting framework
  • Support the Retail Finance function in the preparation of management accounts
  • Assist in the completion of annual budgets
  • Managing/assisting with ad hoc projects and queries to improve profitability and efficiency of the business

CRITERIA

  • Qualified accountant with 3 years post qualified experience
  • Experience working in industry is essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate commercial focus and knowledge of business operations
  • Strong IT skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Driven to identify and implement business process improvements
  • Experience working as part of a team and working closely with departments across the business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Strong individual with experience managing teams and implementing change
