My client, a well known manufacturing business located close to Sevenoaks in Kent, are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team.
Reporting to the Finance Director this role will be heading up the Management Accounting and Ledger Teams to deliver the annual budget and 3 year plan.
Annual leave: 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The main accountabilities:
Help devise and drive financial discipline across the business
Delivery of one year and 3 year finance plan.
Lead Finance to systemise process and standards across the business at pace and to deadlines
Maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management
Monitor costs to ensure that these comply with the company's cost criteria and to maximize savings to the company
Ensure continued compliance with statutory requirements.
Assist FD in the management of the legal affairs function, and all tax compliance matters
Run the Annual Audit function, and liaise with Auditors as and when require
Person specification / Core Competencies:
A track record of success in finance and managerial experience in leading a team
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
Have the skills to motivate teams to achieve tight deadlines
Excellent personal and business presentation skills.
