Due to further growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified ACA/ACCA to join a successful and growing PLC. Due to the nature of the role, this position will ideally suit somebody making their first move into industry from practice.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, a few key duties include:
· Preparing Statutory Accounts for the group
· Overseeing the annual audit - assisting with preparing 'glossy' annual reports
· Consolidations · Monthly Management Accounts
· Ensuring month end is completed within timetables
· Maintaining fixed assets
· VAT returns
This role will suit an ACA or ACCA professional who has the required technical ability. Experience in IFRS and UK Gaap will, be key here in addition to experience working with/for a UK PLC.
