Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful listed business in central Essex who are seeking a new Group Reporting Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will ensure the accurate and timely production of month end reporting data into the Group consolidation system and consolidated month end reports for key management, reporting under IFRS.
A few key duties include:
Production of the group consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow under IAS17 and IFRS16.
Reviewing, identifying and resolving accounting and reporting matters as they arise during the monthly reporting cycle.
Reconciling and reviewing monthly financial data in the consolidation system while liaising with regional review centres for updates and corrections.
Maintaining files relating to the Group consolidation process.
Preparation of key statements and notes for interim and year end reporting, including the preparation of supporting documents for statutory disclosures included in the Annual Report.
A key point of contact during interim and year end audit.
Other ad hoc reporting required to support the Deputy Group Financial Controller, Group Chief Financial Officer and group finance function.
You will be a qualified accountant with strong experience with IFRS and group consolidations. In addition, strong Excel experience, high degrees of accuracy and any experience with Cognos will be an advantage. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a key Essex based business in an integral role. You must be readily available to begin the long term contract.
