Reed HR are recruiting an interim HR Manager on behalf of our client within a Manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Newport. This is an interim position until the end of 2021 and the salary being offered is £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience). The role will be suited to a candidate who is used to working in fast paced, changing manufacturing environments and enjoys being hands on and front facing.
The HR Manager role plays an integral part of managing HR operations onsite including all employee relations and engagement. You will work alongside the HRBP to develop and deliver People Plans in line with the business needs, as well as work with the HR Director on different projects when required.
To be successful, you must have proven experience of a supervisory HR role within the manufacturing sector, have sound Employment Law knowledge and have a track record of Trade Union negotiation and engagement. A CIPD qualification is desired. The ideal individual needs to be self-motivated, results focused and have a can-do attitude. They must be comfortable communicating at all levels, have excellent relationship building skills and be able to take responsibility for their actions.
