Internal Sales Product Specialist – Medical Devices
My client is a specialist distributor of medical devices, surgical instruments and associated medical products. They are a growing and successful company who have made and continue to make, a significant impact on the healthcare market.
Due to continued growth and expansion they have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Product Specialist to their team in the Midlands. Responsibilities of the role:
- to promote an existing range of consumable products. You will take ownership of the product line and will be responsible for all sales activity in respect of this line.
- promoting products over the phone and engaging with customers via email, ensuring that all existing business is managed and retained whilst growing new business to meet or exceed monthly targets and sales objectives.
- Establish strong relationships within key accounts with a focus on being customer centric.
- To develop new accounts across the UK.
- When appropriate, to provide technical assistance and support at events such as congresses or exhibitions.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations and presentations necessary to support or close sales.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets (medical device experienced preferred)
- Strong and versatile communicator using a variety of different mediums
- IT literacy, be adept in the use of Microsoft 365, internet, email,
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of interpreting and analysing sales and account data.
- Able to work on his/her own effectively as well as being part of a team
- Prepared to go the extra mile in pursuit of positive outcomes
