A fantastic local authority based in North West London are looking for Library Assistants for an immediate start. This role is initially scheduled to last until January and will be subject to extension.
The role will involve being a first point of contact for Library visitors, offering great customer service and advice where needed, and to keep the library presentable and fit for purpose.
We are offering a minimum of 15 hours each week per post, to be worked over 3 days. The days are likely to be within Friday to Monday but we are looking for people who are able to work any day of the week as additional hours above the minimum are likely to be available.
Usual daily hours will be 10am-3pm on weekdays and 11.30-4.30pm weekends, however we are currently working reduced opening hours due to Covid-19 so would like to recruit people who are available to work 9am-8pm in case we return to our usual opening hours during their period of employment.
You will also be expected on occasion to welcome guests at the door and ensuring that they are complying with COVID-19 protocols.
Customer service experiences is essential, ideally within a library.
