REED Education are proud to be working with a cluster of Primary Schools across Cheshire West who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their team!
As a Teaching Assistant, your main role will be to support the Teacher in the delivery of the planned lesson. You will work closely with pupils, and often 1:1, to ensure they understand the lessons and the development of the pupils will be your main focus.
Providing support for students throughout the school may include catch up and booster sessions, and a Teaching Assistant is an important part of the school team.
The ideal candidate will have:
NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
Experience supporting across KS1 and KS2
Experience supporting pupils with SEND requirements including SLCN
Experience delivering intervention programs across English and Maths
Whilst the above requirements are an advantage, they are not essential.
