REED Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be working exclusively with our valued client in County Durham on the appointment of a Purchasing Administrator on a full-time and permanent basis.

The role is offering £18,000 per annum and has working hours of Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.

Reporting into the Buyer, you will be required to take individual enquiries from both new and existing customers. 

Job Role;

  • Processing of orders on ERP system
  • Liaising with suppliers for customer orders
  • Processing orders on CRM System
  • Process Job cards for all departments
  • Raise new part numbers
  • Process of warranties – Collecting data and photographs
  • Organise transport with suppliers (UK & Worldwide)

Person Specification;

  • Ideally 1 year+ experience in Purchasing Administrator role
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
