Teacher of Food Technology - September 2021
A lovely community high school near Chertsey which welcomes children from all faith and cultural backgrounds is looking to recruit additional staff due to expanding pupil numbers and expanding teaching departments. This is a very exciting time to join the school as they will be welcoming their final cohort in September 2021 so the school will be teaching students from Year 7 – Year 11 for the first time. The school is housed in a brand-new school building, with purpose-built facilities for all departments.
There is currently a small but effective DT Department within the school, and they are now looking to employ a teacher with expertise in Food Technology to develop their team.
You will need:
• A degree in a relevant/related subject and Food Hygiene/Health and Safety qualifications
• Experience teaching the UK curriculum in Food Technology and Nutrition
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 including the current GCSE specification
Your main responsibility is to love the children and teach great lessons and this the ethos of a school which values the boundless energy and positive outlook of its staff in their commitment to ensuring their school is the best in the country.
The role is paid to London fringe MPS with TLR available for roles with additional responsibility.
