My client based in Bath are a global e-commerce retailer looking for a Senior Insight Manager reporting into the Head of Insights on a permanent basis.
Working collaboratively across the business the purpose of the role will be ensuring their Brand, Commercial and Territory teams are provided with regular actionable insight from new and ongoing consumer research and customer data analysis to strategically inform commercial and brand performance globally.
They are looking for someone who can support their product and commercial strategic calendars, website & media performance, marketing campaigns and commercial/promotional activities to ensure the business is fully equipped with the latest customer
Reporting to the Head of Insights, you will be responsible for the day to day reporting and shaping of key customer metrics including customer sentiment, segmentation, profile and user journeys for each territory website, as well as weekly and ad hoc analysis work.
You will work closely with the marketing team, product, NPD and R&D, and commercial trade teams. Working in a dynamic and flexible manner, with outputs varying across different topics. Act as an integral partner to marketing teams by providing rich insight that helps shape and impact performance, brand, communication and produce development, plans and activities. Ensure all consumer and market knowledge is distilled into clear, actionable summaries and implications and is communicated widely, frequently and persuasively. Support and lead on extracting maximum value from and embedding the fundamental research.
To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be exceptional at linking and seeing the bigger picture to provide clear actionable insight. You will be an excellent presenter and storyteller, be able to explain complicated data analysis to non-technical users. You will love ecommerce, market research and customer behaviour and have a drive to continuously improve customer knowledge to inform and exceed targets.
A passion for customer understanding, you will ensure your recommendations are acted upon and project manage where needed, whilst developing and honing your data skills to ensure insights have maximum commercial impact and relevance to the business. You will thrive on seeing the value added by your work.
We are looking for an experienced Insight Manager who has global experience of working in the consumer goods / ecommerce / retail sector or gained experience in a Research Agency, with both quant. and qual. survey design experience and thrives on seeing commercial results based on insight. If you have experience of Econometric Modelling this would be an added bonus!
